Bret Farrar

Bret FarrarBret is the founding partner of Sendero Business Services, with responsibilities that include business strategy, quality assurance, industry and technology trend forecasting, client satisfaction, business development, and building an extraordinary team. He has over 25 years of experience in management consulting and IT, working with organizations to improve effectiveness through their strategies, communications, people, processes, and technologies. He has worked in a variety of industries including telecommunications, mining, energy, transportation, utilities, health care, real estate, and retail.

Bret's top priority is building a world-class organization respected for its people, culture, and results. He is passionate about maintaining and strengthening a great company culture, and works tirelessly to involve and engage the team in Sendero’s mission. He believes that long-term client relationships are fostered through innovative and workable solutions, an ability to assemble an outstanding team, and exceptional delivery on client commitments.

Before starting Sendero, Bret provided senior IT leadership in the energy industry, was an independent consultant, and began his career with Arthur Andersen’s Management Information Consulting Division (now Accenture). He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Bret is married with four children. He is also an avid soccer player and a coach for his children’s soccer teams.

Ruth Farrar

Ruth FarrarRuth is a partner with responsibilities that include building and managing Sendero's Firm Services organization, developing the Human Performance practice, and helping determine the strategic direction of the firm. She has over 2 decades of experience consulting in various industries including professional services, products, financial services, energy, and manufacturing. Her project experience spans Organization Analysis and Design, Organization Change Management, Curriculum Design and Development, Performance Management Design, and Culture Transformation.

Ruth helped start Sendero “behind the scenes,” then formally joined in 2005. She started her career with Arthur Andersen’s consulting division (now Accenture), where she quickly focused on Change Management as her specialty. She rounded out her skillset over several years as an independent consultant.

Ruth graduated from Houston's Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She is married with four children, and is an active board member for Chase’s Place, a private, non-profit school for children with special needs.

Scott A. Miller

Scott MillerScott joined Sendero in 2007 and is a partner in their management consulting practice. Scott began his consulting career over 22 years ago and brings experience in business strategy, transformational change, disruptive technologies, application development, customer relationship management, business intelligence, and program and project management.

Scott’s primary responsibilities at Sendero include business and marketing strategy, business development, client satisfaction, development and exploration of new markets and strategic partnerships, growing strong leaders and able practitioners, and working to create a collaborative culture that supports the development of our people and sustainable growth for our firm.

Prior to joining Sendero Business Services, Scott was a management consultant with CSC Consulting and Alliance Data where he guided and advised senior leaders in business and information technology organizations for the utility, telecommunications, financial services, digital media, consumer packaged goods and defense industries.

Scott is a graduate of Baylor University and the University of Dallas where he earned his Master in Business Administration in Management Information Systems. Scott’s passions outside of the office include spending time with his wife and two daughters, participating in triathlons, and supporting his Baylor Bears. Scott is also an active board member of Camp John Marc, a special camp for children with chronic illnesses or physical disabilities.

David Allston

David AllstonDave is a partner with Sendero Business Services and has over 16 years of management consulting experience across multiple industries and an additional six years of senior business and IT leadership experience in industry. His primary responsibilities at Sendero include business strategy, business development, the growth of our team and its capabilities, and working to ensure we are effective stewards of our clients’ businesses, Sendero’s business and culture, and our community.

Dave has deep strategic planning expertise gained through helping executives build their organizations, design their processes, and develop technology plans to enable their business strategy. His blend of consulting and industry leadership experience provides him with valuable perspective necessary to help executives best structure their organization and processes to enable true alignment and the effective delivery of large and complex change initiatives.

Prior to joining Sendero Business Services, Dave was a consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Tactica Technology Group (now Hitachi Consulting) and provided senior leadership to IT and business organizations in the energy and healthcare industries. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. Dave is married with two kids, and his passions include coaching his kids’ soccer teams, great food and wine, and seeing (if not changing) the world.

Jimmy Cordy

Jimmy CordyJimmy is a Principal with the company and has over 20 years of management and technology consulting experience. Working with some of the premier companies in the country, Jimmy’s career is marked by a focus on client success through successful M&A due diligence activities, pre- and post-merger transition and integration work, website and product development, SOX compliance, custom and package system implementations, high-end enterprise software delivery, operational unit leadership, and strategic process and technical design. In addition, Jimmy has been in leadership roles involved in the creation, development, funding, and marketing of new products and services in multiple start-up companies across the retail, high tech, and member benefit and loyalty program industries.

Jimmy combines a creative and uniquely honest approach with a deep relationship and account management expertise. His experience includes consultative and industry leadership with multiple Fortune 100 companies and start-ups across various industries, with a common focus on continuous improvement of business services and processes.

Jimmy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from The University of Oklahoma. He is married to his high school sweetheart, and they have five children.

Malia Hodges

Malia HodgesMalia Hodges is a Principal at Sendero Business Services. She has over 13 years working with various utility companies. She has experience in business strategy, strategic sourcing, commercial governance, business process improvement, operations, quality assurance and business transformation programs. Her primary focus is client delivery, building strong relationships and growth of the team. She has experience working with all levels of an organization and in multi-vendor environments.

Malia is a committed and energetic leader who thinks strategically, drives work efforts and inspires confidence in the work and people around her. She is committed to doing the right things for our clients and employees.

Malia began her career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and also worked for TXU and Alliance Data Systems (now Vertex). Malia earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Management Information Systems, University of Oklahoma. She is married with three children, and her passions include running and living each day with a purpose.

Wayne Tung

Wayne TungWayne is a Principal with Sendero Business Services, and his 17 year career includes significant experience in global strategic sourcing, procurement, outsourcing, technology strategy, technology assessment & implementation, business process transformation, and business analysis. He has successfully delivered several consulting engagements for energy and government clients. These projects primarily focused on large outsourcing initiatives with offshore components, technology implementations, and technology migrations. His primary responsibilities are project delivery, business development, and client relationship management.

Before joining Sendero Business Services, Wayne led the IT Procurement group at Dr Pepper Snapple and headed one of the Global IT Procurement groups at Cadbury where he had project and operational responsibilities. He has also served as a technology strategist at TXU and as a business analyst at Citibank. Wayne started his career as a consultant with American Management Systems.

Wayne earned an MBA and M.S. in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University as well as a B.S. in Computer Science from Brown University. He is married with two children and enjoys playing, coaching, and watching sports.
